Twinpeaks.org is a great website - one of the best TP resources I've found online. But it hasn't been updated since 1997. Does anyone know if the webmaster is around (maybe a member of this community) and whether the site will ever be updated again?

Granted, even by 1997, most of the news and general info about the show already existed, but it certainly seems worth updating the sections that would contain new material (particularly info about the show/film on home video and links to other TP/Lynch sites, many of which probably didn't exist the last time the site was updated).

Ah, twinpeaks.org. The first TP-oriented website I ever visited, right after viewing the pilot for the first time ever. Consequently the site that immediately revealed the identity of the killer to me. That was my fault. I didn't observe the rules of the spoiler warning.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see it still around. Am I wrong in thinking that someone would have to still be paying the monthly bandwidth fees? I mean, this isn't a little free Geocities site we're talking about. I guess the webmaster figures, resonably, that there are loads of up-to-date TP sites all over the net, and what he or she did years ago stands on it's own.

Of course, I dunno, I'm just thinking in text form.

This is a great site, I use its resources regularly.

It is long overdue for an upgrade, some interesting articles are listed as coming soon:

  • Unanswered Questions - Questions left unanswered at the
end of the series' last episode.[COMING SOON]
  • Continuity Errors - Discrepencies between the episodes,
the movie, and the books.[COMING SOON]
  • Parodies - Other TV shows which have done spoofs of or
            homages to TP.[COMING SOON]
  • Samples in Music - Songs that have used snippets of TP
dialogue or other audio "sampling".[COMING SOON]

Another good site I used to visit regularly was Twin Peaks Humour Archive, including some hilarious TP parodies. Does anybody know what happened to that site?

Whomever it belonged to just up and vanished. A few of us who have Peaks sites tried to track down the owner to try and retrieve all the pages, but she was nowhere to be found...so as it stands right now, the Humor Archives are lost forever.

There was another really good site, called The Mother of All Twin Peaks...that disappeared, too. :( I remember that having a lot of resource information as well. I adore twinpeaks.org---what an awesome site. Twin Peaks humor pages---would love to see those babies!

The Mother of All Twin Peaks Links Sites used to be one of my favourite Twin Peaks themed site on the internet. That and twinpeaks.org were the first Twin Peaks sites I ever visited. Oh, the memories... It was extremely exciting to dig those sites when almost all the information there was new to me.

The Mother of All Twin Peaks Links site and the Twin Peaks Humour Archive were both part of the same website. I managed to save all the links from the link portion and minimal pages from the humour archive. But that's about it.

I've wondered about this. Guess the owner is stuck in one of the Lodges.

Hmmm, this is interesting. I have had a couple of conversations with the owner of twinpeaks.org over the years. I didn't realize he was missing. :)

Which reminds me, Amanda, we need to talk about this site.

Are you talking about twinpeaks.org or the Twin Peaks Humor Archive?
