Jolie is touting press freedom these days, playing the widow of murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in a new movie called "A Mighty Heart."

Beyond the lip service she does the opposite: The event was for " Reporters without Borders" a group formed after Pearl  was beheaded. The object is to allow free coverage of news events by journalists.

Angelina Jolie banned press from the premiere of her film last night, showing her true colors.

Both Brad and Angie signed photos for almost everyone who showed up to the premiere of "A Mighty Heart," starring Jolie and produced by Pitt. Looks like having AP and USA Today pull themselves off the red carpet allowed for a bit more time with the autograph-hungry crowd!

Ah, celebrity, wonder how  Daniel Pearl, the subject of Pitts /Jolie's movie would view her contol of the press. Nothing new . She did the same thing in Namibia and only allowed that country's dictator's news people to cover her event. Others were prosecuted and beaten. Hypocrite much ?

I've noted that Brad Pitt is disappearing.  He looks like a shell.  Angelina is vanishing also.  Check out these images with the toothpick arms and pencil thin neck.  Eeek!  Saving the world must be hard on a body.

Ya know, I was all ready to concoct a snarky post about this, but I'm not gonna bother. I can't express in words how much I just don't frakking care about either of them or their agendas.

Now back to your normal message board type stuff.

Gee, Bill, I think you just did comment.

There's a large menu.  Something for everyone.

I thought my post was more cynical than snarky.    Either way, I've wasted three minutes of my life on this thread.

May those three minutes be the worst that life has to offer from this point forward.

My thoughts as an observer with little care for either of them.

Jolie is an attractive woman, a mediocre actress, and comes across as a little self-righteous.

Pitt seems like a reasonable actor, but one that I have no empathy with.  Some actors really get me in - Depp for example.  But Pitt just leaves me cold for some reason.

The stories are that Jolie is controlling Pitt and making all the decisions for the couple.  Who really knows though.

I heard that they have a nanny for each kid, but that's something Jolie covers up.  All photo ops show the couple looking after the kids, but apparently that's not the case at all.  Which seems weird since Pitt broke up with Anniston over his desire to have kids, and now he doesn't actually want to play the Dad part...

The press should be out there, covering the world events. Maybe she's just trying to show them their real place.

But what do I know??
