- We can see that Lucy is indeed checking the personal columns of a newspaper just as Coop asked her to do. - In the establishing shot of the Double R we can see a school bus passing by with the words “Snoqualmie Valley School District Vehicle” written on a side. - Boxes everywhere in Ben’s office, I guess that’s where the diorama pieces and toy soldiers were. Check also a boom that can be seen. - The number on Coop’s deputy batch: 13 - When Denise shows up dressed as a man he wears a ponytail - In the Derritt orphanage office there’s a sign that reads CHILD POWER! - We can also see a Mad magazine in the table with Bart Simpson in the cover. - When Nadine is beating up Hank a picture of a cat in the wall falls. Later when she throws him through the shelves it’s again in place. - When we see the shot of Hank’s domino in the scene of Ed and Norma talking, we can also see a closeup of the Double R phone. In case you wondered where it is… - Doc Hayward laughing because of Dwayne’s comments when he informs him about the results of Doug’s autopsy. - The woman from ep.27 is sitting behind Ernie (and wearing her hat of course). - In the photo of Denise’s DEA batch he wears his wig. - In the Briggs residence we can see a telescope in the background and a lamp shaped like an owl.
- When James shows Evelyn the fixed Jaguar she has her eyes folded; there is a subjetive shot where the camera is folded just like her eyes to show us that’s what she sees, the problem is that you can see James and the car before the fold is removed. - James motorbike in the background when James and Evelyn kiss in the Jaguar. - The love symbol and other hippie-like stuff in the walls outside Dead Dog Farm. The love symbol can be seen inside too… - Ernie looking out nervously inside Dead Dog Farm.
- The plate that Denise carries is of course of the Meals on Wheels. - Why Leo, when he wakes up, has pie all over him and wears a party hat, exactly like in the welcome party from many episodes before.

That's one of the typical Lynch mysteries. Non-linear narration, symbolism. Picture on the wall, which leads into another dimension. Classical stuff.
;-) However, the boxes in Ben's office are something which I would really like to take a note of...

Is there any significance to the sprinkler dripping on the picture of Major Briggs "scar" below his ear? Dick Tremayne is dressed like a flasher in this episode. I think the Hank beating up Ed scene would have been much better and darker if the writers didn't have Super Nadine beat Hank senseless. Would viewers today look at the Ben Horne Civil War storyline as not being politically correct? I am surprised Jean Renault would be dumb enough to believe a "waitress" delivering food to them. *Can't wait to get through this unholy section of Season 2
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

Good eye seeing that Mad Magazine with Bart Simpson on the cover! I'm a big fan of both The Simpsons and Mad Magazine, so it's quite cool to discover this! The Simpsons have parodied Twin Peaks several times, however I haven't seen any Mad Magazine parodies of Twin Peaks... sadly. Most of my Mad collection is from 1986-1989 and 1994-2000...
