so my friend recently she told me she caught a rerun of DC from 2001 in which dawson is asked his favorite movie of the year. he says its mulholland dr.  and his friend  says that it cant be because mulholland dr. is just a movie that people say they like to be cool, that its not really good, and by favorite movie she means one that makes you laugh and cry and 'feel'. this angered very much, for very obvious reasons. has anyone else ever seen this episode? just curious.

 on another note, ive found that many TP actors made their way to dawsons creek...madchen amick, dana ashbrook, sherilynn fenn, and ray wise come to mind. i wonder why, as its not a very good show, haha.

I used to watch it, I'm ashamed to say... well, I guess I'm excused because I was a teenager. Anyway, the show was bad especially the last seasons. I remember the character of Dawson's Creek being asked about his favorite movie that year, and each year he was changing taste. The first obsession was with Spielberg, lately with Soderbergh and finally Lynch. But I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Madchen Amick, Sherilyn Fenn and Dana Ashbrook oddly landed quite important roles on Dawson's Creek but they were all pretty lame, expect maybe for Ashbrook's - that had some interesting credits. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not that they were all cast. I guess you should ask Kevin Williamson...

Anyway, if you're interested, Madchen Amickand Sherilyn Fenn had important roles also on Gilmore Girls and I'm of the opinion they made quite a good impression, especially Sherilyn playing two different roles in the same series (first of all she played Jess' estranged father's companion with platinum blonde hair, then she played darker Anna Nardini, Luke's ex-girlfriend with whom he had a daughter without knowing. In this last season the woman tried to take the daughter away from him and he managed to obtain partial custody . Her character was quite despicable and she was extremely good at it.)
