-         The sound effect of Coop’s and Gordon’s cups clashing together.
-         The clock at the hotel with a picture of the waterfalls (very obvious, we see it in a close up).
-         One of the people “checked” by Mike is Tojamura. “His” face is never really seen so it’s slightly hard to spot…
-         Only one of the front lights works in the police car we see in the establishing shot before the scene at Harold’s (I believe that’s footage from the Pilot).
-         A picture of a lake and a deer with the words “Missoula, Montana” in the Palmer’s house. Again, we see that in a closeup…

-         Laura’s photo from Ben’s desk is a copy of an exact one from the Palmers. Probably Laura gave it to him…

-         Amazing, the ep.27 woman (pie, hat, hand shacking) is again at the RR…but this time she wears a different hat.
-         A photo of Audrey in Ben’s desk shows her with the same hair and clothes she wore in the Pilot.
-         Sarah notices the horse is going to appear before it actually does.
-         In the establishing shot of the Roadhouse we see a bycicle; that’s Harriet’s bycicle that Donna took in the Pilot, that shot is reused footage.
-         We all know that the sailors we see at the beginning of the ep. are in the Roadhouse, but have you noticed how some of them are flirting with local girls (Bookhouse Girls??).?
-         When the Giant appears everyone stops… Not really, we see 2 or 3 persons moving, check a guy on the left of the screen.
-         The Log Lady moves too.
-         Have you ever seen the TV of the Palmers? It’s barely seen when they are having breakfast, but specially when Leland is putting his gloves on.
-         A very good one. BOB smashes Maddy’s face into the picture I mentioned before that reads “Missoula, Montana”. So indeed BOB made her “go back to Missoula” as he says, isn’t it?

That woman who's hand shakes in ep 27 pops up in the diner a lot.  If the character doesn't have a name, she should.

Hah, that's a nice observation :-)))

I always wondered about those 2 or 3 people moving... it can't have any meaning, can it? A mistake?

But the Log Lady must be on purpose and I suppose it means she is different by means of having some contact with the supernatural.

Haven't been on this website for a while. Wife had our first baby. Good to see your still going Gordon. One day I'll get a chance to trawl through the episodes too.

Beauty is momentary in the mind -
The fitful tracing of a portal;
But in the flesh it is immortal.
The body dies; the body's beauty lives.
So evenings die, in their green going,
A wave, interminably flowing.
So gardens die, their meek breath scenting
the cowl of winter, done repenting.
So maidens die, to the auroral
Celebration of a maiden's choral.
Susanna's music touched the bawdy strings
Of those white elders; but, escaping,
Left only Death's ironic scraping.
Now in its immortality, it plays
On the clear viol of her memory,
And makes a constant sacrement of praise.

('Peter Quince at the Clavier' by Wallace Stevens)

I just noticed today that she appears in ep.26 as the woman who gives applications to the contestants in Miss Twin Peaks. She appears in the scene with Bobby, Shelly and Donna sitting in a table, when Nadine and Mike enter... That woman sure deserves a character name!

Ok, this is bothering me.  Right after Dwayne and Lana reconcile, and when Andrew is revealed to Pete, what is the name and composer of that classical piece?  You know, the "we forgot the hot dogs" song?

Edvard Grieg... The name of the song is "Piano Concerto in A Minor"...

Also, at night when they come into the sheriff's station with Ben Horne, there is a deputy not Lucy at the receptionist desk.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

I wonder what real hush-hush businesss Gordon Cole is going to over in Bend, Oregon to look into.  Is it something even crazier than what is going on in Twin Peaks or another Blue Rose case?

Was Harold Smith's death (with the suicide note of the little boy's quote) a suicide or were Lodge spirits involved due to his knowledge from Laura?

I know Maddy came to town for Laura's funeral, but how many days did she end up "staying"?

Were the pages of Harold's journals torn and scattered because of his rage towards the disappointment in other human beings or were Lodge spirits looking for all he knows about them?

Is it a coincidence that a lot of Season 2 music (New Shoes, Shelly, etc.) debuted in this Lynch directed episode?

I noticed Mike's (Snake) varsity jacket says he is #74.  I wonder if he is an offensive lineman.

When Cooper and Truman come to arrest Ben in his office, why does he try to run out the secret passageway if he didn't do it?

When first aired, when I saw the hand (Sarah's) coming down the stairs, I thought it was BOB, and also shortly after when she sees the white horse, I thought she was going to see BOB coming through the window.

Circles, circles everywhere. Record player, ceiling fan, It is happening again. - Those words were scary as hell.

Cooper "senses" the Log Lady's presence at the Sheriff's station.

"Something is happening, isn't it, Margaret?" This quote made the following not-scary scene scary with Tojamura creeping around in the dark at Pete's.

Is it just me or does the in between scenes shot (shown twice) of a tree blowing in the wind in the dark look like a spotlight is shined on the left side of it?

Cooper digs Rockin' Back Inside My Heart bobbing his head.

The spotlight is basically a signal of Lodge intervention into this world and the person in it is the target.

The death of Maddy scene is the scariest scene in TV history.

Why did Maddy run upstairs instead of going out the front door?

The record player skipping, animal sounds, and BOB taunting Maddy with hand gestures to come on were scary as hell.

Cooper reaches for the missing ring on his finger when his vision of the Giant onstage ends.

Finest hour of Twin Peaks, TV or film, IMHO

Ah, you're absolutely right... I was genuinely shocked for a moment, because while I didn't know Tojamura was Catherine I obviously knew "he" wasn't a real japanese and that something was wrong with him...
