Yes! It is. You just cross the river right there in front of the Ranger's cabin (which is the sheriff's station) and the shot was taken from the opposite bank. There's also the spot where Bobby and Laura met Deputy Cliff in the woods, if you take this little hiking path that starts there at the Ranger cabin as well. And the road that drives by the state park is where they filmed the driving scene with Sam and Chet.

Those of you who know the area...did I miss anything? I so don't recall.

I'd just mention that the interior and exterior of the Deer Meadow Sheriff Station is that Ranger's house. Also, there's the scene where James and Laura are on his bike and Laura says "I think you better take me home now James," that location is in the woods right near the deputy cliff being killed location.  Unlike the deputy cliff being shot location, which is easy to find because of the two distinct stumps, the james and laura on his bike scene does not containing any unique identifiable items. We just know it was in teh woods there because Josh has the shooting location call sheet.

Also, I believe the scene where Cooper is talking to his voice recorder right at the end of the teresa banks section, that was filmed right before those rock stairs down to the location where Teresa floats by.

Did that make ANY sense? 

"You know, Agent Desmond, I figure this whole office, furniture included, is worth 27,000 dollars"
