I was reading the IMDb Inland Empire board and there's a thread by a doofus bragging about how the USA will have the INLAND EMPIRE DVD released on June 12. He knows this because it says so on the Wikipedia page for the film.
And the Wiki page also says that Iran saw it's release on April 28!. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inland_Empire_%28film%29
I smell stinky. I did some Google searches and turned up nothing verifying the Wiki info. I did find this, however:

So I'm tempted to just change the info on the Wiki page because I'm pretty certain it's false. I put a comment about it on the discussion page.

According to reliable sources Osama Bin Laden has taken refuge in Iran and is selling bootleg copies of Inland Empire to fund his campaign of terror against the West. In the absence of any evidence to the contrary these rumours are of course 100% true and anyone who says otherwise poses a threat to democracy, wholesome family values, and the, er, oil fields.

THAT would explain the curious rumors that it's been retitled binland Empire!!!

Here's my thought: DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON WIKIPEDIA. 
This must be at least the third thread which has been started regarding the "Iranian release" of INLAND EMPIRE.....
Has he taken his eyes off it yet?

The third thread? On this site? I read thru the thread titles going back thru Dec and didn't see anything. Don't hurt yourself banging your head against that wall! I changed the info on the Wiki page today, so you can relax now, OK?
