I haven't seen a lot of David lynch flicks. The first one I've seen was Dune, which I think is one of the better Sci-fi flicks out there. I got hooked on twin peaks when it was first aired here in holland and I'm still a big fan of TP. Now I want to check out more lynch flicks, so I bought 'blue velvet' a couple of days ago. That's a good one. What should I get next?

I'd say Mulholland Dr... it's closer in mood to Twin Peaks than anything else he's done... I think it's his best work next to Blue Velvet.
That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

For me it's nowhere close to Twin Peaks! Blue Velvet sure is but you've already had it. I'd say - try Wild at Heart. People often don't like this film especially having watched the latest Lynch films which are veeery twisted and full of non-linear narration. In comparison to Lost Highway or Mulholland Dr - Wild at Heart may seem so simple, perhaps "too simple". But you are in a good position where you still haven't seen those twisted ones. And that's a big chance that you appreciate Wild at Heart, which it certainly deserves!

I just saw 'Wild At Heart' for the first time since I saw it upon release and I liked it much better this time. I also am looking forward to seeing 'Lost Highway' again, which I've only seen once in a theater (I bought the German widescreen edition), But the masterpièce de résistance has to be the restored 'Eraserhead', which is anxiously awaiting attention on the shelf.
