- Freeze framing we see a bubble of drool in Shelly's mouth when he's talking to Bobby at the beginning (fascinating isn't it? *cough*)
- The "Invitation to Love" brand perfumes at Horne's perfume counter with an ad featuring Emerald.
- The Civic Award diploma in the wall of Battis' office with his name on it.
- In Emory's notebook, where he writes the names of the girls who are candidates to OEJ (with Ronette and Jenny among them, not Laura though) we see some interesting details like the dates being wrong (1990 instead of 1989), that Ronette is marked Feb.3rd and Jenny Feb.25th (this may indicate the girls first visit to OEJ) and finally that there are hearts to rank the girls, from 1 to 4. Ronette gets 4 hearts, Jenny hasn't been "tasted" yet...
- There's a TV in the Double R's kitchen.
- The asian man who Audrey sees appears later in the series as Mr. Tojamura's assistant. The script from episode 8 identifies this guy as being Jonathan, they probably chose that actor to play that part and later changed it to the one who played Jonathan, giving the first one the much minor role of Tojamura's assistant.
- The duck in the establishing shot of OEJ.
- As we saw with the new girl, each OEJ girl has a poker card assigned. The girl who Ed and Coop look just when they arrive has the 4 of clubs, for example.
- When she gets out of the car Maddy carries the newspaper she will later show in the tape they send to Jacoby.
- There's some kind of power plant next to the Gazebo.
- And airplane in Jerry's cap.
- The girl who enters in Blackie's office with Audrey is the new girl from ep.2. We can also see that she smiles to someone offscreen.
- Ed doing the Bookhouse Boys sign to Coop when Jacques shows up.
- The dices in Jacques tie.
- Jacoby wears again the blue shoes from the Pilot.
- National Geographic magazines in the floor at Jacoby's.
- Jacoby's door reads: "Dr. Lawrence Jacoby Ph.D., M.D., Individual and family counseling A.M.A. A.P.A."

Someone mentioned the drool once in the Gazette... I just happened to remember that when I was watching the ep. But hell yeah, I freeze framed HER drool for confirmation... I freeze framed the Log Lady spitting her gum once, captured it and posted it here (and Booth did one of his creations with it). I guess I'm into that kind of things, spitting, drool and freeze framing...

Been wondering this for a couple of episodes now - who is the picture of the man with the mustache and hat in Leo's house? When Shelly shot Leo it must have not done much damage if he is hanging out across the street with a sniper rifle to shoot Bobby and/or Shelly I'm sure Emory Battis doesn't notice the cigarette smoke coming from his closet (Blue Velvet homage) I don't know whether to feel sorry for or to smack Harry the way he lets Josie play him like a fiddle It should have been more obvious to me when it first aired how suspicious Leland was when he watched Maddy sneak out / and for his attack on Dr. Jacoby Jerry must be wasted spilling his beer stumbling out of Ben's office Maddy sportin' the bad Laura FWWM-looking wig I wonder if Leland/BOB was going to kill Maddy at the Easter Park gazebo
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

I know of two things/bloopers. Not sure if they've been mentioned here before. In the episode where Nadine takes the pills and Ed finds her on the floor, he takes her in his arms and says something like "don't you die on me". You can clearly see and hear that the voice has been added afterwards and it's not the actor saying it. It doesn't sound anything like him. I'm not 100% sure of this but I am pretty sure! The other thing is in the episode when they find the dead victim of Windom Earl tied to the chair. The camera in one scene moves across his face. His eyes are open. Just as the camera moves away from his face you can see him blink his eye. And also as all of us know, there was a time gap in real life between the pilot and episode 1. The hair on some actors is much longer in episode 1. I don't know why they didn't cut their hair back to how it was in the pilot. Anyway, that's all I got.

I'm sure Emory Battis doesn't notice the cigarette smoke coming from his closet (Blue Velvet homage) That's what makes the scene genius!
