Funny enough, Hap's looks safe. I can see the newspaper machines near the front door and they're out of the water, and they sit just a bit lower than the front door. I imagine they've got a bit of water inside but nothing that will keep it from being open in time for the festival in July. Woo! :)
I'd love to see more pictures of the valley under water. Any links to the photo stream you got that from, Mace?

I found the "Hap's" photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tsayles/ Here is a link to the slide show: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tsayles/sets/72157594365749800/show/ I also found some cool shots of the falls at snoqualmiefalls.com. They also have some videos of the falls. Here are two more links to flood photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/northbenderic/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/dreiling/294135342/

WOW! Great shots, Glenn. I remember being in Snoqualmie one winter when the valley was flooded. We were almost forced to stay over at the Salish rather than checking out on schedule. But unfortunately, the roads were still open and we were able to make it to SeaTac. The falls look wonderful when they're gushing like that. You just need to stay on high ground, pop a log in the fireplace and relax if possible when the weather goes all Seattle on you. I'm sure that neck of the woods is accustomed to rain and by the time the 'dry' season of the summer comes along, it will all be green and sunny. Betcha there are a few of those famous giant slugs sliming around in "Twin Peaks" as a result of this precipitation! Meanwhile, I'm craving a little rain down here in 90 degree weather of SoCal.
