  • The book "Great Expectations" next to Coop's bed.
  • We can see that the Icelanders are having their particular party in the Smoke Room from the Great Northern, with busy waitresses going in and out the room.
  • There's a small room called the Boat Room next to the Smoke Room.
  • Coop carries his own coffee cup which he cleans before Trudy fills it.
  • Harry does a circle with his fingers and a gesture that imitates drinking to ask Andy for more donuts and coffee.
  • The funny glasses in a table at Jacques house.
  • The Fleshword magazine is on top of a chessboard with rests of orange and popcorn.
  • We can read part of Leo's ad where he announces himself as a 25-year-old single, young and virile, who prefers couples.
  • The Playboy-like poster of a girl where Bobby hides when Andy arrives to Leo's house.
  • A sign of Big Ed's Gas Farm in a tree. We see too James' Harley...
  • A Twin Peaks Police car in the establishing shot of Horne's.
  • Jacques photos: some guys with their bellies painted with funny faces, a lodge with the shape of giant trunk, a sex shop.
  • Maddy doesn't even touch her cherry coke.
  • Jacoby wears a tie with a hunter on it.
  • Though it's not completely visible Jacoby seems to wear a bowling shirt similar to the one Bobby wore in ep.4. It looks like it says "Ernie".
  • We can hear the crow we've seen moments earlier when the Log Lady first shows up.
  • In the Log Lady's cabin: a dreamcatcher in the door, fire extinguishers everywhere, the boarded up fireplace (interesting details considering Margaret's relationship with fire) and the picture of Mr. Lanterman next to his funeral urn.
  • A fly in Coop's coffee cup when the Log Lady is talking.
  • We hear the crow again offscreen when the guys arrive to Jacques cabin.
  • Jacques cabin: a whip in the table where is the record player.
  • The scene of Ben entering his office when Josie is there is repeated, he enters the office, then is seen with the Icelanders to enter again in what it is really the first time (this is fixed in the DVDs, but we still see very briefly the knob moving when Ben is about to enter in the first take with Josie).
  • The sign in the Timber Room, though not completely seen, reads: "FROM ICELAND TO TWIN PEAKS: A GREAT NORTHERN WELCOME!!"
  • Though they tried to fix it in the DVD it still makes no sense that Josie is waiting in the office, Ben and Catherine meet there and later Josie looks like if she had not moved.
  • Awesome detail: Ben offering Catherine a breath mint....after kissing her.
  • Jerry wears a Cupid in his shirt.
  • Hard to see: Audrey entering the Timber Room in the background and hiding behind the totem where we later see her crying.
  • One of the Iceland girls looks directly to the camera before they start to dance.
  • Odd: we see 4 windows of the Palmer house in the establishing shot; if we look really closely we see that the first one to the left moves slightly and we'll notice that they composited the shot to copy the 4th window into the 1st. Less noticeable but the 2nd and the 3rd are also exactly the same. Why did they do that?
  • The photo of Donna and Laura seen when Maddy is using the phone.

The boarded up fireplace was interesting... I'd heard that the Log Lady came from an idea for a show Lynch had (starring Catherine Coulson). It would be a 30 minute show, set completely in her house. I think the Log Lady intros are supposed to be similar to that idea. Anyway in the show she would be afraid of fire and have the fireplace boarded up... I thought that idea got dropped in Twin Peaks, but I guess not...

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

"Harry does a circle with his fingers and a gesture that imitates drinking to ask Andy for more donuts and coffee."

I remember that part when i first ever saw the episode. It always struck me as odd, in terms of both:-

 a) Why the character of Harry himself would even need to adapt these particular gestures.

and b) Why the writers thought it necessary to put them in there.

Admittedly a cool, albeit odd, touch though.

Why is the copy of Fleshworld in the ceiling at Jacques apartment?

This is the first viewing where I noticd the bong in Jacques apartment - absolutely classic!

The Johnsons have one of those old school metal looking silver trashcans INSIDE their house in the kitchen!  I have only ever seen those outside of houses!

When Andy knocks on the door and Bobby hides, Shelly picks up and smokes Bobby's cigarette.

I bet the Log Lady has all kinds of whacked out experiences with the Lodge inhabitants living up in the woods.

Maddy wasted James money on that Cherry Coke!

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper
