- How does Audrey know about OEJ? In the script she hears Ben's and Jerry's conversation about it...
- Coop is about to pour the syrup in the ham, but stops when Harry gets Hawk's call.
- The blood stains in Albert's shirt look like an angry face.
- Doc Hayward wears a blue batch with his name; the nurse we see later with Leland wears the same kind of batch.
- The wounds in Laura's arm where she was tied.
- Emerald and Jade, twin sisters in "Invitation to love" are onscreen when Maddy (Laura's 'double') first appears.
- In the background of Leo's house we see that he has another car, a brown one.
- Betty Briggs wears a smiley in her jacket (she plans to wear it in the funeral!??). Weird...
- In the sheriff station we see a man finishing the job of removing the glass panel from the reception, which started in ep.1.
- The very obvious fake corpse in the video Albert shows to Coop and Truman.
- The figure with an eyepatch in Ed's house.
- A coffee cup in Audrey's hiding place.
- Some people in the funeral we briefly or barely saw: Catherine and Josie next to Pete, Betty Briggs next to her husband, Mike Nelson...
- The police cruiser behind James.
- Johnny Horne carries a book, "Peter Pan", in the funeral.
- In the slow motion scene of the fight between James and Bobby we see Ben smiling in the background.
- The picture of a puppy in Leo's house.

Thanks, Gordon. Very interesting stuff. Perhaps Audrey has heard about OEJ a long time before. Perhaps she has been spying on Ben using the hiding place over a long time period, and seen him talking to Jerry about it.

So Catherine was at the funeral! I've never noticed her there before.

--> Leyland receives an injection from a nurse - In the background of Leo's house we see that he has another car, a brown one.
--> The Cat print seen in previous episode on the side of Leo's truck isn't there in this scene. May be I did see a horse on Leo's truck?? - Betty Briggs wears a smiley in her jacket (she plans to wear it in the funeral!??). Weird... Didn't notice before ... real funny! Lol
- In the sheriff station we see a man finishing the job of removing the glass panel from the reception, which started in ep.1.
--> CHECK THIS OUT: There is a poster on a billboard just before Coops and Truman enter the room in which Albert is waiting to give his report. It says: "Is one of your classmates going to kill you this year?" Drug related? - The very obvious fake corpse in the video Albert shows to Coop and Truman.
- The figure with an eyepatch in Ed's house.
- A coffee cup in Audrey's hiding place.
--> Whydo we see this scene through via Audrey's hiding place. What is being suggested by making this seem secretive? --> In the scene where Jacques sees the red warning light at the Roadhouse, their is grass or straw and what look like ... eucalypt gum leaves on the rooftop??? - Some people in the funeral we briefly or barely saw: Catherine and Josie next to Pete, Betty Briggs next to her husband, Mike Nelson...
- The police cruiser behind James.
- Johnny Horne carries a book, "Peter Pan", in the funeral.
- In the slow motion scene of the fight between James and Bobby we see Ben smiling in the background.
- The picture of a puppy in Leo's house.
--> There is also a little statue of a black poodle. I hate poodles. Poodles and pigeons, I don't like them.

Beauty is momentary in the mind - The fitful tracing of a portal; But in the flesh it is immortal. The body dies; the body's beauty lives. So evenings die, in their green going, A wave, interminably flowing. So gardens die, their meek breath scenting the cowl of winter, done repenting. So maidens die, to the auroral Celebration of a maiden's choral. Susanna's music touched the bawdy strings Of those white elders; but, escaping, Left only Death's ironic scraping. Now in its immortality, it plays On the clear viol of her memory, And makes a constant sacrement of praise. ('Peter Quince at the Clavier' by Wallace Stevens)

(Spoiler ahead, on the off-chance that anyone doesn't know who killed Laura...)
I love the way the dialog from Invitation To Love parallels what's happening in the room at that moment; as the actress who played the daughter portrays the cousin, and addresses the father who is possessed by a murdering spirit, they have a perfectly sweet conversation, while underneath a frantic voice is yelling "It's me! Daddy, are you in there?" A sharper viewer than myself could have pegged him as the killer from this scene alone.

Yeah, my dad said he knew it from the scene where Leland dances with Laura's picture in episode 2, a scene that makes it even more obvious... that scene really just tells you who the killer is... I can't believe I didn't pick up on it.
That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

Alas, we all and most of time time must learn with hindsight rather than insight. However, there are so many red herrings in TP, you might have guessed the killer through this seen and got it wrong. Then again, if you guessed the killer in this scene you would have been right. The point is, it might have been a red herring ... only it wasn't. In other words, you might have had an insight but only in hindhsight, or only confirmed in hindsight because you couldn't be sure it was an insight or a red herring until much later in the film ... yeah ... I'll stop talking now

I can't believe whoever was in charge of continuity let the shooting script refer to Cooper's dream from the International pilot. This is forgivable because the show is a masterpiece. Maybe us fill in the blank fans can come up with an explanation. Where the **** is this convenient store Mike and BOB live above? Ben's expression is priceless when Albert nudges him with the surgical equipment. Mr. Mooney's tie ( I know I'm stretching) reminded me of the owl cave symbols superimposed over one another. What the heck is Bobby Briggs fixing to do with that cross? Bobby says he is going to turn the funeral upside down?!? Huh? Audrey sports a dominatrix haircut (me likey) I always think of this episode as The Funeral Episode. I'm pretty sure you can hear that creepy wind effect fairly loudly during the funeral scene. One of the old men(on the left) at the diner laughing with Shelly about Leland jumping on the casket looks like the creepy old man/uncle(?) from Mulholland Drive! Are the Bookhouse Boys aware of the lodges? Makes you wonder after Harry's "evil in these woods" speech. I wonder what they have encountered before and what caused them to INITIALLY form the Bookhouse Boys.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

Which episode has Jacoby's most AWESOME tie that he fidgets with in a most alarming way? I want to say episode 3 but maybe it was earlier...
