I´ve never understood what´s the meaning of that sentence said by the giant. He says to Cooper that at Leo´s house there´s a clue, and we find later that is the drug hidden under the porch... (or it isn´t??)

May someone explain what has "the hungry horse" to do with all this?

The clue are not the drugs, but Leo's boots which are Circle Brand, the same brand Gerard sold to Andy... It's another hint that points Coop to the OAM.

Hungry Horse was the prison where Leo was locked when Teresa was killed, that's his alibi for that crime...

Or more specifically, Leo was in a jail in Hungry Horse, Montana at the time of Theresa's death.

Has he taken his eyes off it yet?

Teresa's and Laura's murders had mutual traits, thus Leo didn't kill missis Palmer. Just a matter of deductive logic, Norman ;) (one of my favourite quotes)

This isn't right... There's something wrong here...

No, Hungry Horse is the name of a place in Montana.

Google it, and you'll get links to their tourist board. America is full of places with names like Hungry Horse - it's not that strange really, given how important horses are to their cultural history. Ever wondered why "Grand Theft Auto" is such a serious crime in the US? It's because of the days when if you stole a guy's horse, you might as well have handed him a death sentence, if you left him stuck in the middle of nowhere

I know your right about the prison etc. However, just a detail I noticed: there is a horse printed on the side of Leo's truck.

Beauty is momentary in the mind -
The fitful tracing of a portal;
But in the flesh it is immortal.
The body dies; the body's beauty lives.
So evenings die, in their green going,
A wave, interminably flowing.
So gardens die, their meek breath scenting
the cowl of winter, done repenting.
So maidens die, to the auroral
Celebration of a maiden's choral.
Susanna's music touched the bawdy strings
Of those white elders; but, escaping,
Left only Death's ironic scraping.
Now in its immortality, it plays
On the clear viol of her memory,
And makes a constant sacrement of praise.

('Peter Quince at the Clavier' by Wallace Stevens)

Thanks for all this interesting information! As I didn´t understand it before, I was thinking about the importance about horses in TP to make any kind of connection (Sarah Palmer´s visions, Windom in disguise, the word "horse" as a metaphor of drugs...) Now, it´s all clear to me!

GG is a term for a (race) horse - and M.T could sound like "empty"

"Empty GG"

.....you're welcome!

Actually, I don't know where I got the idea that Leo's truck had a horse printed on the side?? That's not what's printed on the side. Must be something subliminal happening in my brain.

After you see this imaginary horse, do you find that unexplained time passes, and you wake to find yourself face down on the floor in another part of the house?

Big thumbs up to you for using Ubuntu, Erwin :)

Perhaps a bit off-topic, but hey..
