What is the ball of light that goes from The Giant's hand into Cooper's body after he has figured out all of The Giant's clues. It isnt the ring, because that is given back to Cooper at the Roadhouse after he solves the murder of Laura Palmer, so does anyone know what it is?

Just my spin on it--but I think it was healing energy. Even Albert says he's looking better the next day. Plus, Coop wanted to dive into it all right then and there and then that ball of light shot out of the Giant's hand--and he almost has a fatherly expression on his face, like, "Enough. Time for bed." LOL. :D

Wasn't that the night after the Giant appeared to him? That is the end of episode 8. He had only figured out one clue at that time.

This supports my theory that The Giant is an agent of The White Lodge. I also believe some, if not most or all, of the Owls we see are watchers for The White Lodge. And the Robed Figure we see in the bright white light when Major Briggs is abducted is another agent of The White Lodge, which is where Briggs is taken.

I allways thought that the giant tried to help Cooper to remember the letter from Audrey, because the Giant tells Cooper that he has forgotten something and then comes the ball of light, which seems to me coming from under the bed, where the letter from Audrey is.

The whole bit about the "Giant" being from the White Lodge - for Gods sake - why not just tell Coop " Hey stupid - Haven't you figured out yet that Leland is possessed by Killer BOB and that's who killed Laura Palmer - and by the way - he wants you to enter the Black Lodge so he can possees you too . So don't go there.
