I am addicted and obsessed with something I've never seen.

Counting last night, I have had 10 dreams of INLAND EMPIRE, and not all of them good. In some of the dreams I'm in the movie, in others I'm watching it in a movie theatre. One was a complete NIGHTMARE where the movie was a horrible mess that, in ways I can't recall, insulted the audience and made us feel like sh*t, and basically laughed at us. In another, the movie deconstructed into some weird Lynchian Mario brothers video game for which I found a controller in my hand. But there have been ones where the film is beautiful. The only thing I can remember from last night is Laura Dern holding a cup of coffee and talking about how she is so happy...

Wow, that's interesting!    A one of those premonition dreams maybe? I had an IE dream quite some time ago andn I remember posting about it somewhere here. 

It was really fascinating at the time but I can't remember much of it now except there was a ringmaster with huge red curly moustache dancing with a unicorn on a stage or something and lots of flames as he tried to make the unicorn jump through a hoop?!!  I mean WTF?!! I have often had dreams like this about people and places come true, so it's spooky.  I would be REALLY spooked if that was actually a scene - but then again with David Lynch anything is possible!

"watch out for my cousin.."

So many times I've dreamt of getting to see a secret alternate version of Mulholland Dr. But who knows if that was actually Mulholland Dr.? I would rather say it was MY Mulholland Dr.

Anyway, I can't remember any scene in particular, just some images like Betty and Rita walking in some untold LA street, in the daylight, but I can't remember seeing them because it looked more like a POV scene, so I'm starting to think I was like a unique entity embodying both Diane/Betty&Camilla/Rita...  another one in which someone (probably a hit man, but not Mark Pellegrino) spies on Camilla. Another one in which Billy Ray Cirus fucks me! GOD, it was very strange. By the way, that dream always ended up being a sort of nightmare because it has always faded with Diane's screams down the hallway of her creepy apartment, but I couldn't see those images. Actually I was seeing myself again, watching the film. And my boyfriend was beside me in a big theatre that looked a lot like Club Silencio. We were staying there almost like in the same position Betty and Rita attend the show. and I tell my love something like: "This should  be Lynch's last movie! INLAND EMPIRE"
