The below thread, ('Killer BOB Speaks!'), recalls the Japanese Making Of Twin Peaks docs, but here's some other great additions to YouTube related to the series! :)

A music video set to Tool's 'Vicariously':  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTyZ8sSbDIs

Three of the four Georgia Coffee commericals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF5X2t7JyyA, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDgQp__xaco, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZxDL_wXMso

The legendary SNL parody! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dmnc9zTzqI

The entire Black Lodge scenes in the series finale, 'Beyond Life Or Death': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9x9QecPbyA, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbzJ91JkvEA

Twin Peaks on 'I Love The 90s': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_BK9_5axRA

Trailers for the up-coming re-broadcast of the series on the 'Devious' channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aktRA1YUNcc,  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oE50VD4-Hs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9QNOtIU94o

Kyle MacLaughlan on David Letterman prior to the debut of Season Two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fvUll0YzyU

Joan Chen briefly interviewed about 'Twin Peaks': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjSck1AV9fw

There's also a ton of clips from the series!

That Letterman clip is so telling.  There is some confusion about who they are discussing, Agent Cooper or DL.  Think that confusion was scripted?   There is so much of Lynch in Cooper, their methods are both largely misunderstood, does it matter?

Letterman: Do you discuss this character with David Lynch? Do you figure out what this guy is about and if so, what is he about?

Kyle: Well... But, I usually don't spend a lot of time with David talking about him.  He'll come in with an idea or something... we'll make it up as we go.

Letterman: Well, it's very effective because it's obvious that the guy is nuts.

Kyle: You think so?

Letterman: Yeah, but he's handling it in an odd way that's kind of appealing, too.

Kyle: He has his own way of dealing with the world, makes a lot of sense to him... but it is a little crazy.

Letterman: And you've worked with Lynch a lot, haven't you?

Kyle: Yeah, we did Dune together. That was the first thing, then Blue Velvet, and now Twin Peaks.

Letterman: Of the three projects that you've worked together on, which do you feel the best about as far as your work in it goes?

Kyle: Twin Peak... I feel most comfortable, I think.

Letterman:  And what kind of guy is he?

Kyle: Dale Cooper?

Letterman: No, no, no. David Lynch.

First night on YouTube with a high-speed connection last night.  The Twin Peaks clips were the biggest reason I got to bed after 4am...not good when I planned to be up by 4:30.  Ended up sleeping in until 6:30.

Y'all see that Japanese TP Production Notes segment with Jennifer Lynch?  She is so mega-hot, effortlessly giving Fenn a run for her money.

Here's a better scene from that notorious deleted scenes bootleg DVD mentioned in a thread which, alas, I cannot find.

Lucy gets doughnuts: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7056444367391485951&q=twin+peaks

more outtakes from the same DVD...

Cooper gets shot: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5946883837063572129&q=twin+peaks

Cooper drops the f bomb: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1212579412301936955&q=twin+peaks

It's remarkable how much of the same material was re-constituted into the TV series, with different intents and purposes, and to a far greater and satisfying effect. Pretty much the reverse process of Mulholland Dr.

Exactly! Even little things like Cooper's line, "When two events pertaining to...", and of course, the conflict between Mike and Bob.

I love that Cop Rock and Peaks are compared.  Sheer brilliance, the former.

I posted some youtube links to the different versions of the rug scene in a thread further down the page called THE RUG.  Check it out if you want to see each.

Also... it sounded like SHERYL LEE was reading that diary exerpt... is there some book on tape of her reading the diary?  Cause I would love to have that!!

Damn this was bad... I love that scene in the American version and this effect totally ruins it... I'm so glad they didn't have it on the new DVD's.

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

Alan Thicke's presentation was so... late 80's!

And...

Jen Lynch on the diary.

Just replied to the secret diary reading group thread and then found this coincidentaly! Did'nt know that Jen Lynch knew who the killer was. I always thought DL and MF only revealed the killer to the relevant actors just before filming and never told ANYONE the identity prior.
