Sources I have read up until now have all said that Frank died of heart troubles; but Wikipedia now says that he died of AIDS. ANy idea which is true?   Not that it really matters I suppose, but I would like to know what's what

Thanks. that's what the majority of sources imply. I hate when people writing articles on Wiki make mistakes like that, it really riles me up.

RIP Frank

Frank DID have AIDS & passed away on Seattle's Capitol Hill. The thing is, no one DIES from AIDS. It's a virus that breaks down your immunities, so eventually you do perish from something like a heart attack or pnuemonia, etc.  Let's let this one rest, huh?

I guess thats the best explanation of it. But It`s sad,How ever it was. He was the king of horror in my opinion.

Beware of BOB

BOBBOB

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

Maybe no spirits, but you did a fine job of summoning up a two year old, dead thread.

Yeah ive also heard both accounts of his death but it would have been the Heart Attack what killed him, the AIDS caused the heart attack.

RIP Frank

As far as I'm concerned, Frank Silva (KILLER BOB) was the star of Twin Peaks, not Kyle (Agent Cooper). I was always disappointed when there was no BOB appearence in an episode. I know fans will blast me for this but BOB was the MAIN MAN. Without the Black Lodge Killer BOB aspect, I doubt I would have watched the show for long.To me, this is why there can NEVER be another Twin Peaks movie or TV special.

Hmmm, is "touche" really correct in this instance? Psycho isn't making a counterpoint, he's just saying the person brought up an old thread. :) But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

I for one thought it was a stroke of genius.

I ran from the noise and the silence, from the traffic on the streets

I don't scare easily at all, but I really think if I would have met Frank Silva while he was alive, I would have freaked out.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

I saw Frank for the first time at the sole fest he attended,  hanging out in the diner, wearing wraparound shades,  oozing menace.  I guess he figured that's what people wanted. After awhile, he grew bored of that, took 'em off & was just a regular guy.  After the FWWM screening, he regaled us with stories on the street outside the North Bend Cinema.  I asked him about the infamous bachelor party story & he gave his own priceless account of it (buy me a drink sometime...)   BOB is intimidating, sure. Frank was a sweetheart.

Jen Lynch also said Frank was a fun, funny all-around great guy to know.

What is this infamous bachelor party story?  I would love to hear it...

Like I said, BUY ME A DRINK!!!  It's a twisted tale, that I don't feel like recounting at the moment.   It involves a groom-to-be that was absolutely phobic of BOB, a bit of bondage, deception & Frank in on a rather sick bit of fun... more later...
