just wanna give heads up on alvin straight's house restoration, I send a bit of money every hm july. gotta call to make sure and wanna know how things are there in the town of Laurens, Iowa. love the straight story soundtrack! so, if any of you love this film, please help out. thanks!!!

well, bad news & maybe good news. I called the city hall of Laurens. Alvin Straight's home was vandalized last year around July, sad to hear. But! they are thinking about tearing the home down & putting a nice monument up. I told them to contact me & send any info.
