If u think about it.. clues are everywhere. Mike says bob feeds on fear, deputy hawk says if u produce fear in the BL u are vulnerable, WE discovers that fear is the key to the Black Lodge. Also if you read the diary u would agree that BOB's main goal was to basicly torcher Laura, he seems to have had that sadistic pleasure of her feeling weak, vulnerable and afraid(that son of a bitch) .... LMFAP and BOB feed on fear! in the end of FWWM we witness that : "BOB, i want all my garmonbozia" or something like that.. Fear is the key my friends.

/ My point of view.

We all know that fear is the key to the BL and also BOB feeds on fear. But i don't think garmonbozia is a substance ,produced by the body when someone feels fear. I think 'Laura was a patient of mine' s theory is more possible, coz if you remember somewhere in the first episodes of TP...don't remember exactly...when Dr Haward examined Laura's corpse,he found it very weird the fact that there was no blood, and no wounds at all on Laura's body...and he just couldn't find the cause of the death....BUT we DID see how BOB was injuring Laura's body during the murder, and we DID see her blood...so? where did all that blood and all the wounds go? I also think that BOB somehow uses this blood (and all the victim's pain and sorrow)and turns it into "food" (garmonbozia) something he and the rest lodgers need!

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

hmm, I think you're right. I guess blood is needed for garmonbozia. But fear is needed as well. I guess that's the.. ugh.. recepy :). Damn i haven't thought of that :)

:) Yep,and fear is also needed to "unlock the door" to the BL :) And I thought of one more example for the blood thing....in the of FWWM,we see how Leland is hanging in the BL in front of the OAM and LMFAP and then BOB (who is angry, coz he knows the garmonbozia will not be for him)then he takes Leland's wound with the blood and throws it on the floor....and right after that scene we see how LMFAP eats the corn/garmonbozia(i believe it was his mouth) so...one more possible evidence for that.

Thank you... you expressed this point very well Iva. I'd just like to add that in FWWM when Mike and MFAP demand their garmonbozia, BOB takes the blood on Leland and throws it on the floor (sort of), where it disappears. Then we see the MFAP eating creamed corn (which as we all know, represents garmonbozia). I still don't get how garmonbozia requires fear though. It is the pain and sorrow of the victim of a murder, extracted from the victim's blood. The reason BOB bullied and tortured Laura was an attempt to break down her defenses so he could possess her. He never wanted garmonbozia from her blood... he wanted her to help him create more garmonbozia. Since she puts the ring on BOB the garmonbozia belongs to Mike and the MFAP (also the ring prevents BOB from possessing her). That's how I see it at least.

The fear has nothing to do with the garmonbozia thing, though, mind that! BOB feeds on fear, but before all he feels pleasure when someone feels fear in front of him,he can feel when someone feels fear, and this attracts him, this gives him the power to attack the victim, coz when someone feels fear...he/she is weak.BOB's like the dogs...when they feel fear they attack!...but  all the lodgers eat the creamed corn(garmonbozia). It is their food.

Just a couple of points about Laura's body - Doc Hayward says there were numerous shallow wounds on the body, and what killed her was loss of blood. The reason there's no blood on the body (and the reason Sheriff Truman doesn't bother with forensics on the beach) is that Laura's "been in the water".

Yes,Laura's body's been in the water but she was wrapped in plastic...it's impossible there not to be any blood on her body.

OK, heres my opinion on the matter.  As I have said before, I believe that everyone that we have seen in the series from the other world are either evil or atleast only out for themselves, except for the angel in the train car of course, I believe that she is the only one we have seen from the White Lodge.  I believe that The Giant, LMFAP, and The One Armed Man are all helping Cooper because BOB is getting too powerful for the lodge to contain and they have to stop him.  In FWWM, you will remember the LMFAP saying "With this ring, I thee wed."  I believe that by taking the ring, Laura accepts the LMFAP's proposal, and that she becomes his and BOB cannot posses her anymore, which is why BOB must kill her now.  Laura knows that by accepting the LMFAP's proposal that BOB is going to kill her, but that he will not be able to feed on her pain and suffering, the LMFAP will inherit that because they are married. Now youre asking "If the LMFAP is evil also, why does she care who gets her pain and suffering?"  Because LMFAP didn't torture her for years, BOB did.  The One Armed Man does not rescue her from Leland/BOB not because he is unable to, but because he doesnt want to, he wants her to die, his job now is to go to the railroad car and drop of the ring to complete the marriage.

The point about "With this ring, I thee wed" is interesting. If by putting on the ring, Laura effectively marries LMFAP, that explains why they are sitting together happily in Cooper's dream in episode 2. They hold hands at one point. But then again, LMFAP says that Laura is his cousin, so their marriage is slightly dubious!!

Perhaps, "With this ring, I thee wed" means that Laura and Cooper are getting married, and that's why they are together in the last scene of FWWM and both of them look so happy...

Are you implying that there is something wrong with marrying your cousin?!? Thats incestiphobic!!!

On a serious note, remember the LMFAP was not sitting with Laura Palmer, or atleast the girl that looks like Laura Palmer says she isn't Laura Palmer (Yes, I know this opens up a whole other can of worms), but she feels like she knows her.
