In a less tough way, IrishLisa I suggest you going in the ROOM TO DREAM dvd thread. You will have many of your doubts cleared...

Hmmm... that's quite easy to make me play the bad guy part.
What's tough (or rude) to people who actually post useful messages here is to land and ask about such an overworked topic. It's just like if all the information effort (from some of us ) was simply... useless. Hopefully not everyone is like this. So, it's quite easy to be just a pointer. Glad they are some ! Nevermind... :-)

For the record - there is NO "strict rule" about what you can and can't post here. all we ask is that you refrain from certain language for the most part. However, we do not like double posts regarding same or similar topics because it usually ends up either 1) confusing members and 2) adding more storage capacity to our allotted amount on the servers. Granted, a quick scan of the first page of the forum would've given the answer, however, a better resposne to the original post above should've been "Already have a therad about it - take a look here" and then post the link rather than a rude comment that would alienate members.

I agree with Jordan. Since I have been a member, I've posted infrequently, but usually I make sure what I'm posting is informational, and relevant. Most of the time I post in the TP & FWWM forum. This came up in conversation, and I didn't think before posting. Oops! But come on, a simple "refer to the 'Room To Dream' thread" would have been sufficient. Sheesh.

Yeah I agree Lulu. I've stopped going to one of the David Lych sites because I can't be arsed with thread fascists... Interesting discussions do go off on tangents, and I find it impossible to discuss David Lynch without referring to his other work. Some people are determined to suck all the joy out of living! I can understand people getting frustrated re. questions that come up time and time again but people are blunt and often rude on the net in a way they wouldn't necessarily be in 'real' life. It's nothing personal Irish Lisa, people just are just responding to words on a page.

Not sure if your post was intended as a response to mine Candy Coloured Clown but I wasn't referring to anything in this thread. Just message boards in a theoretical sense. I assumed the dead horse was no longer being flogged?
